Gigantes are giant butter beans, baked in a rich tomato sauce with dill, parsley and plenty of extra virgin olive oil.
The beans are slow cooked in the oven for several hours to create levels of delicious flavour. This is a traditional Greek recipe that has been cooked in homes for many generations.
Can be enjoyed straight from the jar as part of a Greek meze or gently heated with crumbled feta over the top.
